Description (brief)
Dark-wooden dish for mixing pigments, partly ajour carved. The bottom is decorated with engraved patterns. This kind of dishes was mainly used for mixing red and white pigments ( from small fruits and lime respectively), used for decorating for example ancestral statues, shields and praus. This dish was probably made for the tourist market.
