Description (brief)
Spear made from the nibungpalm with a decorative blade cut in ajour. The decoration is very symbolic and depicts stylized praying mantises, associated with headhunting. Through the middle of the blade a winding motif has been added, depicting a snake. Above and below the blade are s-shaped figures. Used by men during headhunting raids and today carried when attending festivities.
