Description (brief)
Headhunting horn made from bamboo stem. At the bottom end two prongs are carved out. The horn is richly decorated along its length with different motives carved out in relief. Headhunting horns were traditionally used to scare the enemy, after the abandonment of headhunting it became a dancing attribute.

Shield decorated with typical Asmat carving. The raised outline of the figures is coloured black. The figures themselves are coloured red and the rest of the shield is coloured, probably with chalk. Description (brief)
Hourglass shaped drum or tifa. The drum has a handle and is carved from light wood. The body of the tifa has been decorated with geometric carved patterns, coloured white (carved parts) and black. The drum skin is missing. The original mounting of the skin a broad ring of bast fibre cord is still present.

Paddle, carved from light-brown coloured wood. The sharp blade of the paddle is carved with Sentani decorations. The raised parts are coloured black and the carved out parts red. Two-thirds down the grip a diamond-pattern has been carved. The grip is decorated with red and black bands of colour.

Bone dagger with a geometrical carved design. At the top of the handle tree bark is plaited around the knob of the bone. Attached to the knitting are strands with shells and tufts of casuaris feathers. Purchased 1950-1962.

Adze (knee axe) with smooth wooden stem with a black stone blade. The stem is made of a piece of trunk with sidebranch. At the end of the stem a cut-away has been made for the blade. This is fastened with the help of a wedge and bound with split rattan.
